About Echoes
The original homestead, commissioned by missionary Florence Young in the late 1920s, later served as a retreat for the Australian Christian Nurse movement before being demolished in the late 1980s. The site was reimagined as Echoes, a contemporary three-storey guesthouse designed to capture sweeping views of the Blue Mountains and Jamison Valley.
One of the region’s first luxury guesthouses to offer fine dining, Echoes built its culinary reputation in the early 1990s under renowned French chef Claude Corne. Evolving from a luxury B&B, it is now a 4.5-star boutique hotel with an award-winning restaurant, bar and lounge, renovated in 2006.
